Session 2024-25 – Start dates and information

Well we hope you all had a fantastic summer and are well rested and ready to get back to BB. We are looking forward to welcoming along our returning members and new members.

The sections will resume on the below dates:

Anchor Boys: Wednesday 11th September at 6:00pm
Junior Section: Monday 9th September at 7:30pm
Company Section: Wednesday 11th September at 7:30pm

There will be an increase in the collection from £3pw to £4pw. This applies to all sections.

We have tried our best to not increase the collection for as long as possible (and haven’t done for over a decade) through subsidy. However, with prices increasing all around we are now at a position where we are left with no alternative.

Boys’ Brigade and Girlguiding Christmas Appeal 2023

We have been thinking about all the children and families in our area who are struggling and with Christmas fast approaching decided to offer our hand of friendship and organise our Christmas Appeal again.

Organisations will help to contribute in different ways e.g. donate one nights collections, decorate and fill boxes as part of badge work.  We are extending our appeal to parents and members of the congregation to take part and would be grateful if you could donate something from the list below.

The tinned food is to ensure the families will have a Christmas dinner.  This list is only a suggestion to give you some ideas.  On behalf of the families we are grateful for all donations!
